Air & Space Museum

Every Tuesday is free museum day in Balboa Park. Depending on what Tuesday it is, certain museums have free admission for San Diego residents. This past Tuesday, Erek and I went with a friend of ours to the Air & Space Museum. I got some exercise pushing him around in the stroller, and he got to look at all of the cool stuff. It was pretty crowded that day with kids from schools on field trips and day camps, but I only had to wait a few minutes to take a cute picture of him in his own size airplane. He loved it, as you can tell by the huge smile on his face. We also went to the Automotive Museum and he got to sit on his first motorcycle. He loved that too! What a cutie.

Erek's First Angels Game

We had such a fun time at Edison Field where the Angels played the Twins. Overall, Erek seemed to enjoy his first baseball game. He didn't have a real good view of the players, but he could see the whole field, the scoreboard, and every other fan that was there. He probably could have seen our house, Canada and Japan from where we were sitting! Haha... yes, we were the Mr. Nosebleed Section Ticket Holder Guy's. We got free tickets to the game from Eddie LeBaron and enjoyed a tailgate party before the game. It was quite a hike to our seats, but Erek didn't seem to mind and as long as he is happy, I'm happy. Although, his happiness didn't seem to last very long. He doesn't seem to be a fan of cheering crowds. As soon as anyone would make any loud noise, he would start crying and would look at me with this face like I just took his favorite toy away. The crying would last until everyone stopped cheering, and then he would sniffle a few times, and be back to his normal self. What a character. Every Friday night home game, the Angels have a firework show. I was almost positive Erek wouldn't like those loud noises either (he hasn't ever seen a firework show before this one), but it seemed the pretty bright lights distracted him from the noises and he didn't make a single peep the whole time. Yay! I got to enjoy them too!

I decided.

So... here it is. My blog. I couldn't decide if I wanted to start one or not, but I figured that this would be a good place for me to post pictures of my adorable family and tell you a little bit about what is going on in our lives at the same time. I hope that you enjoy!
